- Then add a glass of red wine, salt, stock cube,pepper and the mixed herbs.
- Lower the heat to a simmer and leave to cook for an hour stirring every 10mins. Serve with pasta /macaroni and grated cheese
- Note that cooking on low heat for an hour is absolutely critical that being said the sauce can be made a day before to save time when needed.
